On iPad using iMovies or Luma Fusion you can handle majority of video editing projects in your film making endevour. For technical reasons you need a desktop application (which can be used on a laptop also). You can have more number of audio or video tracks, frame rates, resolutions, formats, masking, chroma key and so on which take your film making to the next level.
